Frigidaire is one of several brands included in a major recall involving Midea-manufactured window AC units. The recall, issued on June 5, 2025, affects more than 1.7 million units in the U.S. sold from March 2020 through May 2025. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the recall due to a risk of mold exposure linked to pooled water inside the units.
