September 25, 2025 — Sunbeam Products has issued a massive recall of 1,290,000 Oster French Door Countertop Ovens in the United States, plus more than 104,000 in Canada, after dozens of consumers reported being burned when the oven doors unexpectedly closed.
According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the ovens’ glass double doors can suddenly spring shut while consumers are reaching into the hot oven, creating a serious burn hazard.
